    What would be the best approach for SOAP interfacing in the Akelos framework, using AkRequest.php?

    Ideas would be appreciated, as always.

    yes.

    AkDispatcher::dispatch() is straight forward.

    AkRequest->recognize() right now returns an instance of the controller which should handle the .. em .. Request.

    This design might change, though. But anyway AkRequest is the way to go.
