i saw in the api that there is a set of methods that are related to "combined attributes". i searched in RoR documentation and it seems there is no equivalent or similar thing. Could one of the core developers explain a lil bit about the utility of this methods???

for example i got a form with 2 fields that then are "procesed and combined" and saved in one column in the model, but when editing or failing validation they are not shown properly in the form of course. Does this set of methods are related in anything to this kind of cases???
