    Hi I'm new to Akelos and have been spending the day playing with it. Ive been strugling now for a few hours trying to get the admin plugin to work, the latest of Akelos and the admin plugin dont seam to like each other.

    Firstly during install of the admin plugin I was...

    Fatal error: Call to undefined method AkInstaller::promptuservar()

    Then when I got around that one I was getting errors about _authenticateOrRequestWithHttpBasic being undefined, at line 33 in admin_controller.php, now I have found this in the repo but now get Class 'User' not found in myapp\app\controllers\admin_controller.php

    HELP, I really want to make use of Akelos and the admin module but just seam to be hitting brick wall after brick wall with this one!

    Then simply the installation didn't work out too well.

    1. Use the trunk or nightly build of the framework
    2. create an app
    3. install the plugin for this app.

    thanks that seamed to work a treat, maybe its about time though that the "stable distribution" on the download page should be updated?
    akelos seams a great framework but these are the kinds of things that will lose it popularity quickly.... and silly things like this would be a real shame.

    But it says

    1. recommened: svn trunk
    2. nightly build (download)
    3. 'stable' 0.8 (quote: "This release does not support plugins and other enhancements you can find on the development version.")

    ;-)

    soon we have 0.9; some 1.0 things are implemeted as well
