Installing Akelos: [noob] Booklink example on Mac OS X

    Working through the example but trouble with initially accessing booklink as part of the example. Apache is fine, Apache+PHP4 is configured but pointing my browser at http://localhost/~crow/booklink gives

    -----
    Forbidden

    You don't have permission to access /~crow/booklink on this server.

    Apache/1.3.33 Server at localhost Port 80
    -----

    I can access http://localhost/~crow/index.php, for example, just fine though.

    Ideas ???

    Hi crowja,

    And welcome to the Akelos forum!

    It seems like an Apache configuration problem.

    Have a look at this post, or searching in this forum, as that is a common problem
